Take one complex teabag fold and two different arrangements for completely different effects! Remember to get clever with your choice of papers to achieve amazing results! And if this isn’t challenging enough for you, look out for the second part of this Master Class next month where we vary the fold shown here and combine it with another! Cherish 1 Place a teabag sheet pattern side down and fold in half vertically. Open out and fold in half horizontally. Open out. 2 Fold the two top corners in towards the centre point. 3 Fold the left and right edges into towards the centre so they meet in the middle. 4 Fold the bottom edge up to meet the centre fold lines. 5 Fold down the top right corner of the bottom edge you have just folded so the right corner meets the bottom centre point. Unfold. 6 Pull out the right centre point from underneath the bottom folded section using the crease from Step 5 to help you. 7 Turn the paper over so the point is on the left side. 8 Fold up the point so the diagonal edge of it meets the left side of the main section. 9 Slightly unfold so you can pull out the middle crease line and flatten to create a kite shape. The centre line of the kite shape should line up with edge of the main section 10Fold eight teabag sheets in total. To make the medallion add a little glue to the bottom left quarter of the front of a folded teabag (near the kite shape) and attach a second on top so the two kite shapes line up with each other as shown. Continue in this way until you get to the last teabag where the first one should slide on top of it. 11Cut four squares from the teabag sheet and attach to the top of the lilac card blank. 12Cut three leaves from another square and attach on top of one of the squares on the card front with foam pads as shown. Repeat three more times and attach to the rest of the squares. 13Mount the teabag medallion onto the card front on top of the papers as shown. Cut the small square from the centre of another teabag square and attach to the centre of the medallion. 14Ink the Cherish stamp with Eggplant and stamp underneath the teabag design. Always 1 Fold 13 teabag squares following Steps 1-9 for the Cherish card. To make the medallion turn a folded teabag 90° to the left. Attach another teabag on top at a slight angle so the tip of the kite shape is touching the bottom of the kite shape on the teabag underneath. Continue in this way to complete the medallion. The number of pieces needed will vary depending on how far each one is overlapped. 2 Once the medallion is constructed attach an old photo to the back so it can be seen in the centre of the medallion from the front. 3 Cut a 14x9cm piece of brown card and mount onto cream card. Attach the medallion to the top of the mounted panel and then fix to the card front. 4 Ink the Antique Music stamp with Denim and stamp underneath the medallion. Stamp Always’ with Denim onto a piece of cream card, trim to size and mount onto blue card. Trim again so there is a thin border along the top and bottom edges only. Attach to the bottom of the card front.
